Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Monson Tryon
Associate DVM
Dr. Tryon was born and raised in Arizona. His exposure to veterinary medicine started at the age of 5 years old when he held the flashlight for his dad, (Dr. William Tryon), while he fixed a cut on a horse. Dr. Tryon loved riding along with his dad, as often as he could, visiting horses and farm animals all over the valley. He would often mimic these farms at home by raising every type of animal his parents would allow.
By age 19 he had earned his Associates in science and then took 2.5 years off school to serve a mission for his church in southern Argentina. After returning, he pursued the love of his life, and asked her to marry him. He graduated from ASU in May, 2014 and began vet school at Oregon State University that fall. In May, 2018 Dr. Tryon graduated and moved back to Arizona where he worked for Desert Hills Animal Clinic for 5yrs. He and his wife have 4 kids and 2 dogs of their own. He enjoys anything and everything outside from sports, atvs, hiking, water activities and camping. Most breaks you’ll find him at the cinders or the dunes with his friends and family.

Dr. Kristin Timiney
Dr. Timiney is a 2016 Iowa State graduate who is not only well rounded (she has had her hand in a little bit of everything; from general practice to toxicology to urgent care), she’s also a great human. Her passion for growing the human/animal bond combined with her lifelong devotion to helping sick patients be well again is what makes our relationship a perfect fit.
What are a few things to know about how she spends her time when she’s not caring for our fur babies? We know she shares her home with her favorite, naughty, grey cat, Navi. She loves to spend time crafting, doing puzzles and reading, and of course, dealing with a certain kitty who has a cat-attude!

Dr. Shannon Foster
Dr. Foster was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2002. With a special interest in surgery and dentistry, she loves working with dogs, cats, and small mammals.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Foster has been happily married for three years and is a proud mom to a daughter currently attending Grand Canyon University. At home, she shares life with three sweet kitties and, when she has time off, you’ll most likely find her sharpening her trivia skills!
We are thrilled to have her caring expertise and compassionate heart on our team.
